I was able to run GTA 4 on my AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ 2.6GHz, 3GB of ram, ATI Radeon HD 4650 1GB video memory quite fine but not at the max graphics it was all most to the max. The only thing was that it lagged a little so im getting the new AMD Athlon 64 X2 6400+ 3.2GHz and 4.5GB of ram which will make crysis and gta 4 run perfect!

I think crysis would be too hard to play... I'd be too busy taking in the graphics. Some bad guy would just walk out and pop one between my eyes, and I'd never know it because I'd be too busy gazing at the graphical speldor.

Hmm, i don't really like crysis, nor far cry 2 and same goes for most of the new "new generation" games which have been made in 2008/2007. Well, the graphics are amazing, but the developers forgot a tiny factor called: GAMEPLAY QUALITY. Gameplay in crysis is boring as hell, and its the same gameplay ,as in crysis, in far cry 2, STALKER clear sky etc. To run the games on high and smooth you need a !"#" 800+ $ comp. not worth it. Cmon, the WII-console has better gameplay than the mentioned games.

Ah, such a great game. In order to have that much ammo you need to buy as much of it off the trade caravans as possible (they restock on their round trips). There is also a weapon that is a modified FATMAN that can launch several mini-nukes at once, completely decimating a large group of enemies or a small town :)

Dude, that's the point. I can feel you when you mentioned that this game emphasizes freedom and roaming around endlessly, creating your own little adventure. Mind you that I've played the first fallout game when it was released back in 1997. I just don't understand the hype. It's an RPG, no need to imply. Let a kid play this game and most of time, he'll be using VATS for his aiming pleasure. Carnage, blood and gore. Auto-aim. An arsenal of destructive weapons. It's everything a kid dreams. Get?

You know, you're missing the point. If you actually played the game and THEN formed an opinion, you'd see what the hype is about. It doesn't just have "all blood and gore" and "no linear storyline". Not that a linear storyline is somehow criteria for quality of a game, but Fallout 3 has an immense open world and gives the player freedom to do virtually anything within it. And by the way, you CAN aim, OR you can use the targeting system. Pay attention.

Is this what everyone is getting all hyped up about? Fallout 3? Failout 3 is more like it. I've played quite a lot of first-person and third-person shooting games but this one is like catering to what the kids want. Blood, extreme gore and the elimination of the hassle of aiming for the enemy's vital parts. Seriously, how can a sniper rifle bullet just dissipates an enemy's arm and limbs? There's no challenge in this game. For people who says this game rocks are certified kids. Honest opinion

Ok I guess that makes sense, but what about certain parts of the game where the soldiers will be standing there behind you (standing still) with thier M4's shooting and not a single bullet hits you ? For example take the end of the proluge when you are running towards the chopper to escape the troops and the bullets just wizz by your head , how can they be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO inaccurate ?

well duh they seem weaker... the demo char is freaking rigged! Like no kidding... the barb first fought naked! Probaly wielding a low ass lvl axe! or club! or w/e that is... anyway, the point is that this is a DEMO and in a DEMO it is ALWAYS convenient to use a highly and ridiculously rigged char to go through the stuff quickl. Remember that fat boss? The barb didn't break a sweat beating it, cause that's how the devs made it to show content faster. I guarantee actual game is much harder.

I have to say never playing this game let alone 1st time seeing this game. I am some what let down. The sound effects are cheap as well as the lighting is all off. There is way to much contrast and the muzzle flash is all off and to much like someone is snapping a photo. But i guess till i play the game then i will be able to see the game as a whole.

2D Saturn games used a ton of resizing sprites and stuff but kept the perspective fairly flat. Stuff like Dragon Force & Guardian Heroes come to mind. it gets pretty scary because you can't see anything! plus when a zombie(or whatever) spots you, your heart beats faster which is scary because often you have no idea where they are. another good thing is that you get to play as different characters each chapter. bad things are npc's (i always hate those) and that the fighting system is repetitive.. also theres not too much extra stuff you can do aside from the main story line..
