Well you're certainly not buying it for the graphics. And if you're so smart and looking to buy a console that's fun then why did you buy the Wii? Honestly, how often do you really turn the think on? Everybody I know who owns(ed) one (including myself) hardly ever turn it on in favor of more fun games (PC, 360, PS2). Galaxy and Smash are about the only decent games out there. Aside from those, the console is plagued with cheap shovelware, a non-existant online system, crappy controls that quickly lose their novelty, and graphics worse than the original Xbox. For all intents and purposes it's a step backwards in the consoles of today. Many people bought it out of impulse because it was so cheap. And most often the console simply sits on shelves collecting dust, or coming out briefly during parties. Idiot.

Kinda sucks for you to make that judgement "The games are shit for it". I'll admit, the majority are, but Nintendo always license a load of crappy games. Zelda, Mario Galaxy, Metroid Prime 3, Resident Evil Umbrella Chronicles etc etc are all good games. Still, I do prefer my 360 even though it recently red ring'd.

lol dude i was like you picturing that huge 3d game machine too but seriously man that was AGES ago, over 10yrs and counting i remember it too, there was one at a shopping mall where you pay them and they let you on the machine, its like the movie lawn mower man, very bulky and lame and you shoot 3d blocks and stuff but hey its a NEW era, they have the ability to make media players thin like cardboard (i think) and project image on water mist i.e you need no screen.

The problem with 3D games and such is they become very inconvenient to play, they used to have 3D games and stuff at arcades, and it was like a big machine and you had to wear a helmet thing.. And it hurts your eyes after a while.

amazing but too bad its focused on the young i.e you can't exatly use this console for gta lol upon that i think next gen should be virtual reality goggles, i mean looking at tv screen with wii remote is the same as conventional methods...to have an actual 3d realm beamed to your eyes (which is possible) is FAR more next gen then this and xbox and ps3
